A LETTER FROM OUR PARTY LEADER

There is a very real and direct threat to safety when representing views and opinions that do not reflect the accepted mainstream narrative. For Britain has come under attack primarily from extreme left groups when lawfully campaigning or speaking. Sadly the assistance from the police has too often been lacking – a prime example being at the Lewisham East Parliamentary Hustings, where I could not attend due to the violent mob convincing the police to close it down – such was the perceived threat to my safety.

Recently my home was broken into, and the police believe it was more malicious than a simple break-in. The person(s) involved did not steal expected items, and managed to enter my property during the only 10 minutes that the house was empty that day. Police have suggested this was not random, but targeted, and attempt to intimidate me. It won’t work.

As such I am having to invest in better security to protect my home from future threats – it is already the case that left wing activists are sharing my details on social media. On top of this, we are contesting the Batley & Spen by-election, and we must recruit ex forces personnel to protect ourselves from the very real threat. Residents have warned us of the local violent gangs who pose a significant risk.

For Britain will never ever fail to organise or attend an event because of threats – in fact, they generally spur us on, as when the far left are angry, it normally means we are on the right path.
